Dynamic Shoulder Stretching

I also tried some dynamic shoulder stretching of shoulder area in kitchen archway and found good results sliding my hands up and down on the archway while stretching out the pecs.

I felt a positive effect from this that was much better than just standing in the arch and stretching. Care must be taken to warm up and slowly stretch the shoulders and chest rather than diving into it.

This type of stretching above the head and down to the neck is similar to behind the neck presses but with no weight. I have seen cross fit videos where they are in the deep squat position and press up from behind the neck and then drop it back down!

This action does look rather crude and pretty scary if you like you spine where it is but are they doing this to dynamically stretch there whole shoulder along with there upper chest in this position or are they just doing this to increase pushing power out of the hole?

I will not do too much of this until I learn more just to be on the safe side and protect my nagging shoulder.

I would love to train with an Olympic athlete!
